ADHD Tips

It seems like more people have ADHD now than there were before. It makes me wonder if it is just being talked about more openly now, or if people say they have it because they are hyper or unfocused. Either way, I am not here to judge, I just offer some things that I know help me. I don't take medications for it because, on top of having ADHD, I also have Hypomania. If you are unsure what that is, it is a form of bipolar disorder. So instead of having the low, lows and the high, highs, I just constantly have the high, highs. So any kind of stimulants that might help my ADHD, would most likely just make it worse.

Some people think "Ok, but you are always doing something and you seem to manage it well." To be completely honest, it is like having 12 caffeinated squirrels, 2 ferrets, and 1 feral cat in my head at all times. Yes, I am always doing something because I literally cannot stop. I hardly sleep, I am always busy but never fully accomplish the things that I am busy with, because I get distracted and start something else. Sometimes managing my time and focus feels like Mission Impossible. I work full-time, single mom full-time, do school full-time, and have 3 cats and a dog, I am always starting different crafting projects, while also doing odd jobs to earn more money, plus many other things.

Here is an easy and effective way to manage your daily tasks, without getting so overwhelmed
Just remember, it is ok if you don't get everything done in one day. Focus on the things you did do and celebrate those small wins. Make small steps at first by just setting a 15-minute timer for each task. Then work on adding more time. This will help you learn to re-focus on one thing at a time. That is all for this post, but I will be posting more soon.

Here, Have My Random Thoughts

Hello and Welcome! Come on in, have a sit, and hopefully, you will like at least one thing I post haha.      One thing I really can not stand is someone who says "You have to have a niche to succeed with a blog", or "How will people know what you are about if you don't have a certain topic to write about?". Seriously, who wants to read about just one thing? Why can't people be random in their blogs like they are in their lives? Is there just one thing you do and talk about in your everyday life? No, I didn't think so. If that is how you are, then I am sorry to say but you are boring as fuck!      There are so many things that go through my head, activities (ok crafts) that I do, topics that I like, and things that I know. How could I just pick one thing? So, here is a list of some things you will see here: Crafts and ideas for crafts Different ways to make money Random stories and thoughts Day-to-day shit A lot of cursing Cooking/bakin...

Self-Care. Beauty. Feel goods. Dopamine Delivery

Self-care is tedious some days, but it is extremely important . Even just doing the smallest, most basic things will give you a dose of dopamine . Pluck your eyebrows, wash your face, take down the mom bun and wash your hair, change into different yoga pants, shave your legs, sit outside with your favorite drink, walk around naked while listening to your favorite song,  do some online shopping, or my personal favorite - telling someone to fuck off when needed . It does not matter if others see it as self-care, if it makes you feel even slightly better THEN IT IS! Starting with one small thing can start a snowball effect, let that bitch roll. My favorite brand for skincare is The Ordinary - the products are great and won't require you to find a sugar daddy to purchase them. I will make another post soon about my skincare routine with names of everything and where you can find them.
